Peace City Gala Night in Frankfurt On December 18, 2025, the city of Frankfurt hosted the Peace City Gala Night, a significant cultural and social event dedicated to peace, dialogue, and social cohesion. The event took place in the Griesheim district and welcomed around 600 guests from various European countries, including Germany, the Czech Republic, and France.
Benafsha Rahmani, together with a group of her colleagues, participated in the gala on behalf of the Banowani Mohajer Internationale Migrantinnen e.V.. She described this participation as a positive, meaningful, and valuable step toward strengthening cooperation with peace-oriented institutions. From her perspective, such initiatives represent a shared commitment to serving humanity, promoting human dignity, and supporting individuals and communities in need. The Peace City Gala Night was organized within the framework of the Peace City 069 initiative, which aims to embed peace as a lived value in everyday urban life. Through speeches, panel discussions, intercultural dialogue, and cultural performances, the event highlighted the crucial role of cities and civil society organizations in peacebuilding and social cohesion.
